This has been bugging me of late. I've seen it mentioned on several message boards and blogs that Sarah Palin is hot, often jokingly implying that this alone would get her votes despite the fact that she is woefully unqualified in virtually all other respects.
Erm, what? Has the hotness bar really fallen so low, or is there some kind of weird conspiracy to cement at least one 'positive' attribute with regard to this woman? Alright, she's fairly attractive, but why do so many people insist that she's hot? It does not compute!
(As an aside, Tina Fey is hot, despite the passing similarities between the two.)

I think it's because - as potential world leaders go she's fairly OK.
That is until she actually *says* anything......
Haha, I wasn't even remotely considering the intelligence and speech attributes... but yeah, it does take her down many, many notches!
Box of rocks comes to mind - but then again in my experience most men don't really care what goes on between a woman's ears.....
She is reasonably attractive. Hot even, when you think how fugly the rest of the female politicians can be? Maybe that's why? Also her beauty-queen past might be a factor as to why people have boxed her into the hot hockeymom stereotype.

I'm sure it's an image they're keen to play up, and you're right the beauty queen thing probably has something to do with it. It's just weird that this meme exists and keeps cropping up on message boards!
